Installing Ekiga on Linux

Ekiga 3.2.7 is available in the official Arch Linux repository.
# pacman -S ekiga

Ekiga 3.2.7 lite version, without evolution and gnome support, is available in AUR.

The version available in debian can be found on debian repository. You can install it as any other debian package, with:

aptitude install ekiga

Install package:

or built it on your own
$ cd /usr/ports/x11/gnome/ekiga
$ make
$ make install

Ekiga 3.2.6 is available in the repository.
A testing version with a patch for some NAT traversal issues (fix STUN support for RTP streams) is available here.

You must choose 'Lucid' if you use Trisquel 4.0.1. This repository should work for Trisquel 4.0.1, as well as for Ubuntu 10.04.

Trisquel 3.5 "Awen" (Short Term Support)
Ekiga 3.2.6 is available in the repository.
A testing version with a patch for some NAT traversal issues (fix STUN support for RTP streams) is available here.

You must choose 'Karmic' if you use Trisquel 3.5. This repository should work for Trisquel 3.5, as well as for Ubuntu 9.10.

Trisquel 3.0 "Dwyn"
Latest Ekiga 3.2.6 is available here.
A testing version with a patch for some NAT traversal issues (fix STUN support for RTP streams) is available here.
You must choose 'Jaunty' if you use Trisquel 3.0. This repository should work for Trisquel 3.0, as well as for Ubuntu 9.04.
Trisquel 3.0 "Dwyn" is no longer supported, please upgrade.
